Ricoh to introduce vendor agnostic automated job onboarding solution at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023

TotalFlow Producer will be demonstrated at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023

Cloud-native print on demand app that provides flexibility and visibility will be unveiled at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023

Ricoh Europe, London, February 9, 2023Ricoh today announced its latest production workflow technology – RICOH TotalFlow™ Producer – developed to resolve the leading workflow challenges around print job intake and preparation. It will be showcased at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023, February 27 to March 2, at the Messe Lucerne Exhibition Centre in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Its first time on display for the public globally, TotalFlow Producer funnels print jobs from multiple submission methods into a consolidated cloud-native location, and provides the ability to view and edit jobs, all in an easy to use, cost effective, and error-reducing solution that is completely vendor agnostic for seamless integration into existing client environments.

TotalFlow Producer allows users to:

  • Automate the submission and consolidation of jobs coming from multiple sources, such as email, web to print, and file transfer services.
  • Activate an automatic preflight function that helps to identify file issues, including missing fonts, inaccurate page size, poor image resolution, incorrect colour and more. This helps inhouse and commercial Print Service Providers (PSPs) to eliminate errors, reduce costly reruns, save valuable time, and improve client service levels.
  • Improve the overall client experience by providing a personalised job uploading portal where job status can be viewed. A simple bidirectional communication method within the portal will eliminate the need for time consuming post-order follow up interactions.

Eef de Ridder, Vice President, Graphic Communications Group, Ricoh Europe, says “By hosting TotalFlow Producer in the RICOH TotalFlow™ Cloud, we can meet our clients’ growing needs to improve data security, efficiency, scalability, and affordability without requiring expensive IT infrastructure or expertise.”

TotalFlow Producer will be available to license through annual subscriptions and will offer free trials beginning in summer 2023.

Along with TotalFlow Producer, Ricoh will be showcasing two of its market leading vendor neutral solutions that empower printers to unleash the full potential of their business. Ricoh Supervisor, Ricoh’s first SaaS production workflow application, collects operational data and visualises it on web-based dashboards to optimise device utilisation and operation throughput.

Supporting web fed and sheetfed production printers, Ricoh ProcessDirector™ is designed to automate data driven workflows. And the award winning integration between Ricoh ProcessDirector and Ricoh Supervisor delivers advanced visibility down to the document level, including insight into production volume.  Ricoh will also demonstrate the newest integration between Ricoh Supervisor and Hunkeler pre- and post- finishing equipment, which collects device statistics and then illustrates the data to help identify ways to drive efficiency.

In addition to its activities on the exhibition floor, Ricoh will present innovation in workflow automation in the digital printing environment at the DOXNET onsite conference, which will be held on February 28 as part of Hunkeler Innovationdays.
