Highcon Launches HighConnect Performance Reporting Platform to Drive Production Efficiencies in Digital Finishing
Yavne, September 7, 2022: Highcon Systems Ltd. today announces the launch of HighConnect, a cloud-based data information platform that allows users to monitor their Highcon system production performance. The platform will enable users to keep track of key performance indicators and improve manufacturing efficiencies from their Highcon digital cutting and creasing systems.
HighConnect automatically collects and monitors productivity and utilization data from Highcon system(s), including system status, speeds, and job setup times to give a full overview of the production process. The platform then displays reports in its intuitive dashboard, providing the user in-depth insights in a fully connected digital platform. HighConnect allows converters to make strategic production decisions, monitor business goals and improve their workflow to maximize throughput.
“HighConnect gives us all the data we need to evaluate our investment in our Highcon Beam 2. It’s great software and eliminates manual data collection, showing us run rates, and make ready times to make sure we are running as efficiently as we can,” Jean-Paul Wheater, Continual Improvement Manager, Linney.
The HighConnect platform provides a visual overview of production data-driven trends, on-demand, from any PC or handheld device. It has indications of key performance metrics to keep track of production, as well as an in-depth insight into near real-time production data to be analysed by job types, substrate type and time periods. The platform also reports on actual production vs. planned for improved planning and decision making and provides the opportunity to drill down into setup times to identify areas for self-improvement
“HighConnect is the next step in performance reporting for digital finishing, significantly reducing the amount of time needed to run analysis and enabling operators to accelerate productivity. It supports our vision for a digital manufacturing strategy, providing total control of the multiple data points collected from our systems. Today’s announcement is the first step for HighConnect, customers already using the platform have already increased productivity and efficiency. We intend to continue to expand HighConnect to offer customers a wider range of capabilities including maintenance management and productivity control” comments Haim Veig, Head of Products at Highcon Systems.
The HighConnect platform includes:
- Monitoring – HighConnect monitors every stage of the Highcon system production process. It includes system status, speeds, job setups and production time
- Reporting – Platform reports enable users to identify and track current and ongoing trends for improved planning purposes and staff expertise.

Highcon develops, markets, sells and supports a portfolio of digital cutting and creasing machines that cover a wide range of formats, substrates and applications. The Highcon technology is transforming the industry, by providing cost effective solutions to the increasing manufacturing inefficiencies facing folding carton and corrugated carton manufacturers as the result of the emerging market trends of e-commerce, shorter time to market, lower job sizes and a drive to sustainability. Such requirements cannot be accommodated by the expensive and slow conventional die-making and setup process. The Highcon digital technology bridges the gap between agile production and design flexibility delivering improved responsiveness, JIT production, short runs, customization of structure and design, and the ability to perform a wide range of applications in-house. Highcon products are installed at customer sites around the world, including some multi-national companies, effectively supporting the needs of global and local brands. The company’s leading investors are Landa Ventures owned by Benny Landa and JVP led by Erel Margalit. For more details: www.highcon.net
