manroland AG - Strong commitment to South East Asiamanroland places key German printing experts in the region
In order to provide the solid support and premium services for customers in South East Asia, manroland made it a point to place two experienced printing experts in manroland Malaysia, the headquarters of manroland South East Asia region in Kuala Lumpur: Peter Bähr as Service Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, and Sascha Renye as Lifecycle Manager printservices. Peter Bähr has 27 years experience in the printing industry. He joined manroland as Service Manager for the Region Malaysia and Singapore on 1 June 2010, with the main responsibility to structure and globalize manroland services further into the South East Asia Region and to provide prompt, professional, efficient, and cost effective services for all our customers. Sascha Renye joined manroland headquarters Germany in January 2007 as Area Services Manager responsible for after sales solutions, training, support, and structuring the Western European market. Now Sascha Renye takes on the new post of Lifecycle Manager printservices, which is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, providing his strong support in the South East Asian Region. Sascha Renye will leverage his rich experience from Europe to the Asian Region broadening the customers’ visions for more opportunities and solutions all around printservices. Together with the printservices team, he will provide the customers with the most suitable consultation advice ensuring the reliability, the best printing quality and productivity of their presses during the press lifecycle. In addition with the team, he will proactively conduct site visits to the customers to know more about the real needs of the customers and provide them with the tailor-made solutions, such as Upgrade solutions, Service solutions relating to ProServ, TelePresence, MaintenanceManager and ServiceKits. Highly-skilled manroland engineers from Germany are already based in Kuala Lumpur to add their on-site full support to the customers, as well as add valuable input towards training our local technical team. They will be mainly responsible for the inspections and special tasks on customer site, as well as supervising installations and technical upgrades. manroland AG is the world’s second largest printing systems manufacturer and the world’s market leader in web offset.
